Wilshire Subway Meeting re Potential Crenshaw Station

Metro is seeking community input regarding whether the "Subway to the Sea" should include a station at Wilshire/Crenshaw.  Metro invites interested persons to attend a meeting on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Wilshire United Methodist Church, 4350 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles CA 90010. 

The fate of the potential Wilshire/Crenshaw station could affect the Mid City West neighborhood.  Metro is also planning a Crenshaw Line that would run from LAX to Crenshaw/Exposition.  Many people think the Crenshaw Line should be extended further north to Wilshire.  If there is no Wilshire/Crenshaw station, that line might connect to the Wilshire Subway at La Brea Avenue, Fairfax Avenue or San Vicente Boulevard.
